John R. Rausch is the Chairman and CEO of Rausch Coleman Homes. Rausch Coleman Homes is one of the nation’s largest homebuilders and diversified Real Estate Development Companies. Building over 4,000 homes a year in over a dozen south and south-central US cities, they are committed to helping families better their lives and provide them the chance to achieve their dream of home ownership.
From a young age, John worked side by side with his grandfather and mentor Ernest “Buddy” R. Coleman, learning the home building business. Together they started Rausch Coleman Homes in Fort Smith, AR. John built his first home at the age of 18, besting his grandfather Buddy by one year.
Initially established in the Fort Smith, Arkansas market, Rausch Coleman Homes has expanded its operations into some of the nation’s most attractive regions, primarily in the south and south-central United States.
John is a native Arkansan, born and raised in Fort Smith. John attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) where he received a Bachelors in Business Administration, majoring in Real Estate Finance. John is married to Ashley and they have two sons and one daughter.
John is an avid pilot and outdoorsman. He is an active member of his local church, National Association of Home Builders, National Association of Realtors, YPO and is an Eagle Scout.
