The Greek word for sin is hamartia, meaning "a missing the mark." We are not born Christians. We are born sinners. Romans 3:23 states: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." If sin was not serious with God, He would not have sent His only Son, JESUS, to die on the CROSS for our sins!
