Pastor Jamar Andrews is a native of Jonesboro, AR. On February 19, 2006 he surrendered to Jesus Christ and was called to ministry shortly after being saved. On December 15, 2007, he married his wife Stephanie; they have two children, a daughter, Eva and son, Elliot. Stephanie stays at home at this time and serves in the Children’s Ministry at Word Baptist Church. Jamar serves as Lead Pastor here at Word Baptist. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Arkansas State University and completed a Master of Arts in Islamic Studies from Southwestern Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, fishing, and watching the Tennessee Titans. He has a passion to see lives transformed and the world reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
